Uncle Mikes also make sling sets for the Contenders and Encores. I use a Barrel band instead of the forend screw as it puts the sling studs farther apart .The barrel bands are from Uncle Mikes also. They are for shotgun barrels. Just mike your barrel and get a set in that size range,they make the gun hang better for me.There is a picture on the bragging board of three of my contenders with barrel bands and slings if interested.
