Thanks for the advice, everyone. Last night I talked to a relative of a fellow student who's tried coyote hunting with no luck before. If we can get together, we might be able to figure everything out. His relative was complaining about coyotes bothering her dogs at night, so I'm hoping this opportunity will result in some new land and maybe even a hunting partner.
