I have seen a couple shows that sport the Encore handgun. Once was a hog hunt with a 15" 209x50 ML, then I saw a deer hunt where the guy hit a super buck (10 ptr) at 170 yards with a 308 I believe, and then saw Larry Wisen(&*^%*& (lol-I can never remember his last name) on a deer hunt with a 30.06.
I agree I would love to see more.
I did see an ad the other day where T/C is starting a hunting show soom called "One Shot" (or something like that). Suppose to be on Sundays.. I would think they would show a few handgun hunts. If not I would bet a few emails to them suggesting it would not hurt.
Thanks, Shawn

There have been a few more as of late, as the popularity of our passion continues to rise. Saw 'Uncle Ted' Nugent drop a wall hanger with a .44 Mag SBH a while back, and then a few weeks ago with a 10mm. Just last weekend Wally Dallenback used an Encore on a bull elk on his show, Track and Trail Adventures. Game Trails, with Larry Weishune, has done several. Saw a hog hunt via Striker .308 last year. Occasionally you catch the odd reference on a few others. But, yeah, there is room for a lot more and I think you'll be seeing more as we grow. Shouldn't be too tough to go from magazine to TV, eh Guys!?!?
Rod, too.

There is a new show on the Men's channel called T/C's One Good Shot with Larry Weishuhn but it isn't all handguns. You can find out more about the show by visiting the website. LarryWeishuhnTV.com

Dave Watson on Bushnell Outdoors has used a handgun a few times on his show. He has taken a Mule Deer and Buffalo with an Encore while hunting with Table Mountain Outfitters.

On one of the bow hunting websites I frequent one of the members is getting others to try & take their own hunting videos, done as professionaly as amatures can with amature equipment, being careful of language & statements made, & then submit them to him. He will then pick the best, edit them, & put them all into one video. Species, regions, & hunting styles will be diverse, which will be kinda fun. Obviously it won't be a weekly TV show, but we could have someone with editing & production capabilities that would do the same with our hunts & turn out a yearly video. 12 hunts @ 5 min. each would = 1 hour of video. Maybe a 10 minute intro explaining why we do it the way we do, how the video was put together, & the differences between the different types of guns they will see in the video. I too would love to see a weekly show, but this is a thought that might be a bit more doable for now.

Quick note from a newbie to the board...
Am working on a new handgun hunting television show tentatively titled BIG BORE CHRONICLES, with Dick Williams hosting and me producing, for The Outdoor Channel. I also produce COWBOYS and AMERICAN RIFLEMAN.
No paper signed yet, so I can't say much. So far, though, it looks like we're going to rock and roll!
Stay tuned...

Welcome to the forum Michael! Your new show sounds great. I may keep the cable after all. I too enjoy your other shows, they just usually don't focus on my favorite aspects of the sport. Please keep us informed, & if you ever decide to shoot an episode in Alaska & there is any way I can help with info, etc. let me know.

Caught a show this weekend called Cabella's Memories in the Field, or in the Wild, something like that. Anyway it was home video of two guys turkey hunting and that's the premise of the show. You send in your own hunt video and they use it on the air, well maybe, if it's up to par. You get some stuff if they do but that's besides the point, let's get some pistolero action on there, eh!
