I've said it before and I say it again, shooting tiny groups is over-rated.
I've found, if one cannot shoot well under a controlled environment..........one cannot shoot well outside of one.
Fundamentals is fundamentals. Ya got'em........or ya don't. A benchrest shooter does not automatically equate to a field shooter. But, the basic fundamentals translate exponentially from bench to field. I've seen it time and again.
I teach folks to shoot in a comfort zone. Then I take it away. Those that shot well in calm tend to shoot better in chaos.
Those that scoff at small groups usually do so because they can't themselves.
