Fundamentals is fundamentals. Ya got'em........or ya don't. A benchrest shooter does not automatically equate to a field shooter. But, the basic fundamentals translate exponentially from bench to field. I've seen it time and again.

I teach folks to shoot in a comfort zone. Then I take it away. Those that shot well in calm tend to shoot better in chaos.

Those that scoff at small groups usually do so because they can't themselves.


My point is, whether your group is 3" ctc or 1" ctc, as long the the center of that group is where you want it to be the job is done. Group size will improve with experience. Take it for what you wish, but it works for me......

There are other forums out there that specialize in punching paper....
