Thanks for posting this James! The Nilgai Antelope is definitely my favorite of all the exotics. Nilgai Bulls are deservedly notorious for being hard to put down. Very few Nilgai are put down with one shot. 59 gr.'s of H335 & a .416 340 gr. Woodleigh Protected Point Weldcore bullet proved to be the perfect medicine. James and I had talked about waiting for a frontal shot to see what kind of penetration I could get. That was answered very quickly. I hit the bull in the crease of the neck where it met his left shoulder. The bullet was recovered just under the skin of the back of the right ham against the hock.
