sixshot, you are right but the details are not as important as the heart of the story, the heart of your hunt. Better to be a little inaccurate on the minor details than to never put it in writing for everyone to enjoy. It would be something your family would treasure later.

I have been trying to put my hunts in a journal for my son and daughter to have later. It is a lot of work and some of the details are fuzzy in my mind after 54 hunting seasons but it is well worth the time and effort to do.
