Thanks for the props all! The buck was 3.5 years old and dressed at 130#. Yes, the .44 mag is plenty for deer but I do love shooting the FA guns. The load for this one was 24.6 of H110 under a 240gr Sierra. Holds about 3" off the bench at 100 yards. There are a few better deer in the area but this one is a real good deer to take out of the herd based on his so so antler development. Still he is a true trophy in my book. Glad to finally be a little more active on the forum.
