Maybe the reason the Colt ammo shot better is the fact that most 45 ACP ammo has bullets that are .451 dia and the colt is .452dia. This is nice concept but I bought the Blackhawk and did not have the best luck. Si I handloaded some stuff. Better but not stellar results. I wanted one of the redhawks myself but did not hear or read enough good reviews.
