I would love to see Ruger put their name on a .500 cartridge. Although I doubt it would be a 1.4" case.
That's why The 500 S&W Special case at 1.285" would be the perfect addition to the Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley revolver line.
Run 500 S&W Special case at 480 Ruger pressure and you have a 50 caliber on the mild end of the recoil spectrum. Kind of like mild, medium and hot salsa.
500 Special is mild, 500 Linebaugh is medium and 500 S&W Magnum is hot.
