I'm with you on keeping the magnification set low. Right now I'm between the burris 2x7 and the Bushnell elite 2x6. If I understand it correctly the fov on the Bushnell on 2 power @ 100 yds is 10ft. The question I have is will that fov decrease incrementally with the yardage? So at 30 yards it would be 3 feet. I'm sure either one will take some getting used to. I just want to understand what I'm purchasing as well as I can before I make a decision. Also if I understand it correctly the Bushnell has a constant eye relief regardless of magnification where the burris varies with the magnification setting.


I have the older 3200 series scopes and I've been very happy with them. I have 2-7X Burris' and like them but between the two I prefer the Bushnell. Bushnell's site shows the FOV is 4 feet with the 3500 series at 6X.
