Was really wanting to try the Elite but guess Im late to the party. I really would have a hard time buying anything Simmons as the quality of them have generally been pretty poor. I have a 2.5x8 Leupold that Im going to bolt on the 454 and see how we get along. One thing about it is that they can come off the gun as quick as it went on! If I don't like it I might try one of the Ultra Dots on it.
I ordered 2- B Plex 2x7 Burris today and also 1- B Plex 3x12 scopes. I have quite a few of the old model Burris and they are a bunch longer than the newer Burris scopes and would for sure overload a revolver. Been wanting to try the B Plex...
Might put one of the new 2x7 on my new 10 inch 41 Freedom and see how I get along with that combination..
