AZShaun, good story and good shooting. Shooting any game with a handgun is worthy of praise and excitement. As far as getting started handgun hunting, many here including myself started handgun hunting on small game. As to hunting large game hunting goes many of our members are self taught. The best teacher for hunting is getting out and observing the game your after. There are many good books, many written by and for handgun hunters on hunting large game. Again, the best education I got for hunting was getting out in the woods and paying attention to everything I saw. Good luck and don't give up.
