I used a Burris red dot once, for about 4 shots. My 460 S&W blew it up. Never used anything but Leupold scopes since then, and never had a failure. Put a Leupold on that same 460 with 4 Warne rings, and it never failed me. Because of that experience, it's either iron sights, or a Leupold for me. On EVERYTHING.
