Good one, Mark! Congratulations!

Thanks for posting Darrell! I had one photo of this buck on trail camera. Hunted for eight days and was fortunate to lay eyes on him as he was trolling for chicks. The 120 gr. Nosler BT punched thru both lungs at 160 yards. I was very thankful for the opportunity.

NICE LOOKING BUCK, A LOT OF CHARACRTER PLUS AN ACORN
"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

Beautiful buck, Mark! Congrats!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Great job, Mark! He's one interesting looking buck. How old do you think he was?

Mark, that is a great buck. You are having a lot of success with that new Nosler & waiting 8 days for that big boy to show up again takes a lot of patience, congratulations!

Many Thanks for the kind words. Chance, I'm guessing he was 3.5 years old. He scored just shy of 140. But I'm not concerned about score -- it's the experience and opportunity I'm thankful for.

Beautiful trophy! Glad you're here Mark. I've been reading of your handgun adventures for decades in Hunting for Handgunners. Thanks for sharing your hunts with us.

It's the new Nosler NCH. Very well thought out design and extremely accurate. Comes in six calibers at the moment. I've been hunting with this handgun for a while and so far it's taken bobcat, boar, dall sheep, gator, antelope, mule deer, coyote, and whitetail. I am very pleased with this Nosler handgun. You can check it out on Nosler's website.

Congratulations another really nice animal.
We had an 11 point on one of the game cameras, but did not see him during season. Stan Smith took a nice 10 point on his property East of us. The deer were moving differently the first week of season. Possibly due to the cold weather. The first weekend every deer we saw was running.
