Bob Roach old hand Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1,155 Missouri Ozarks	Max I believe you are correct about the MatchDot not fitting between the Ruger Rings on the Super RedHawk. I just got my Super RedHawk 480 out of the safe for a look. So the UltraDot 30 will be the only option unless he uses the Weigand Scope Base. I have the Weigand base on mine, and the Matchdot will work on the Weigand base. The UltraDot 30 will work fine. Bob R See You At The Range
