I've taken a cheap nylon belt holster and notched out the front enough to fit my Super Redhawk with scope. The scope wears the see-through flip-up caps or I can shoot(and have)with the caps down when it's raining. A little thread and a black marker to cover the exposed foam and it works perfect and looks OK. And is perfect for a fast-draw. I really prefer to have my pistol carried on the waist. And I'm sure others think a pistol doesn't wear a scope. I've used this setup for over 10 yrs.

My question: Has anyone seen or have had a holster made similar to mine? I love the nylon. Leather looks better but after hours of rain, I'd prefer something more durable. Thanks in advance, Tony
