Hi guys. As a lot of you know, I'm trying to import in Italy a BFR (I thought a .450/.45-70 Gov.), but the question which bother me is always the same:
Is it worth the trouble for me invest a lot of money (about 1650 €) and of time in this gun? My friend who has moved in the USA when he has married an american girl, has said to me that with his PC 10" .450 BFR can reach more of 620 m/s (about 2050 fps) with 350 grs bullet without problems. He have one also in .500 S&W and he has suggest me to buy one (but in .500 S&W I can't 'cause it is illegal in my country).
A lot of people I've heard in a few of american and german gun websites, instead, say that BFR revolvers would not as strong, powerful, accurate and perfect made as most think.
What I have to do?
And finally, between .45-70 and .450 Marlin, what you suggest I could take? With which I can have more power?
