This is true, but you'll only have to do it a couple of times in your lifetime, maybe. The Ruger will run forever without having to take it down. Occasionally, just spray it down with an aerosol cleaner and blow it out. Some fellers just feel the need to strip things down all the time, even so, after you do it a couple of times it becomes old hat.
