I haven't owned one and the reason being I have read too many negative things about Taurus. I guess it depends on what the price is. I would consider a Smith or Ruger, just my thoughts. I went with a Smith 44 PC. As far as rating it, I would say on the low side. Considering that money could go towards something more dependable. On the other hand I know some people that have em and love them.
