thanks guys, it's been a while coming. I know my guns and ballistics but when you get bit like I did it's hard to regain the confidence which is why the last few years I started out with intending on killing my deer with a handgun and always grabbed for the rifle during crunch time but I can honestly say the rifle will be staying home for now on. I think it was a little harder for me because we don't have the # of deer you guys back east have and we have a one deer a year limit and with me being a meat hunter I never wanted to chance missing the opportunity to fill my tag.
