Saw this on another board somewhere on the internet, thought it would be fun here.
Armed and Dangerous, 1986. The Cowboy: "Slim, I ain't never seen a handgun that big before!" Frank Dooley: "It's a fifty caliber. They used to use this to hunt buffalo with... up close. It's only legal in two states... and this isn't one of 'em." (not so funny now in 2008)
Johnny Dangerously, 1984. Danny Vermin: I got something to stop him. Dutch: They made it for him special. It's an eighty-eight Magnum. Danny Vermin: It shoots through schools.
The Three Amigos, 1986 during the gunfight with the german, a bandito hands him a BIG revolver that Ned can't hardly lift into his holster.
"You wanna die with a man's gun. Not a little sissy gun like this."
later in scene the gun changes hands due to the extreme recoil. Dusty says,"Not so fast, El Guapo!" "Or I'll fill you so full of lead, you'll be using your dick for a pencil."
I hope you will post your favorites
Bill

Here are a few of my favorites that come to mind.
The Patriot "Aim small, miss small." Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson)
Quigley Down Under "This ain't Dodge City...and you ain't Bill Hickock." Matthew Quigley (Tom Selleck)
Open Range "You listen out of your good ear now!" Boss (Robert Duvall) after Charley (Kevin Costner) hits an uncooperative cattle rustler in the side of his head with the butt of his rifle.
Mountain Men "You ain't got the sense that God gave geese!" Bill Tyler (Charlton Heston)
Jeremiah Johnson (in mountain man dialect) "Here's a man for ya! I'm half horse, half gator, tougher'n a earthquake. I've got the prettiest gal, the fastest horse, and the ugliest dog this side of hell. I can out jump, out run, throw down, drag out and whip any man in old Kaintuck!
I told my pap and mam I was comin' to the mountains to trap and be a mountain man. Acted like they was gut shot! Sez, 'Son, make your life go here. Here is where the people is. Them mountains is for animals and savages.' I sez, 'Mother Gue, the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world.' By God, I was right!
I might never see 'em, but my common sense tells me the Andes is foothills and the Alps is for children to climb. These HERE is God's finest sculpturing. There ain't no laws fer the braves ones. Ain't no asylums fer the crazy ones. There ain't no churches 'cepten this right here. And there ain't no priests 'cepten the birds. By God, I are a mountain man and I'll live til an arrer or a bullet finds me and then I'll turn inter a post and moulder into the further buildin' up of these here mountains, the back bone of the world! WAUGH!" Del Gue (Stefan Gierasch)
Experience is the best teacher, hunger good sauce. Osborne Russell Journal of a Trapper

In the Outlaw Josey Wales, the scene in the saloon while they are headed west:
Bounty hunter comes into the saloon asking if any had seen Josey Wales.
Voice from the end of the bar says "I'm Josey Wales"
After some conversation Josey convinces the guy that he'd be best leaving, and he walks out through the doors. After a moment the doors swing back in and it's the bounty hunter again.
He looks at Josey and says "I had to come back"
Josey, "I know"
BH, "It's a living"
Josey, "Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy"
Then they go to the guns and of course the BH stumbles out holding his chest, ded.
I just love that line!
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Tombstone Doc Holiday tells Wyatt Earp after the gun fight at the big oak with Johnny Ringo, "I'm affraid the strain was more than he could bare."

All right I can't belive nobody has made mention of Harry Callahan(Clint Eastwood) in the 1971 movie Dirty harry. Am I just getting too old and the movie is that dated or is the quote to cliche?
"I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kind of lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well do ya, punk?"

How about the TV show called "Sledge Hammer" that spoofed Mickey Spillane's show Mike Hammer. Sledge always use to say "Trust me I know what I'm doing" As he pulled out his ivory gripped 44 named "gun". LOL<LOL

I forgot where I heard it, but a U.S. sniper says: You can run, but you're just gonna die tired.
Don't confuse shooting with hunting. Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.

I have been debating them for a while and Tig even was reading my mind. But sense about 75% of my quotes are from Scooby Doo and Veggie Tales these are some of the better ones.
Rio Bravo (Oh the possibilities of quotes from this movie and El Dorado, but if I had to pick one…) “Do you have any soap that smells like roses? I have soap, but it doesn’t smell like roses. Won’t do won’t do, Stumpy likes roses? Who’s Stumpy, a guy who likes roses.”
Blazing Saddles “Do you see my hand? Looks fine to me. Ya, (holding up the other hand and shaking it variously) but this is my shooting hand!”
Space Balls “Ludicrous Speed… they’ve gone plaid!”
Varsity Blues (Billy Bob makes a couple of spectacular blocks and clears the way for the QB to make it into the in-zone. Ref goes up to Billy Bob and asks) “How many fingers am I holding up? Wait a minuet ref, unfair question. Billy Bob, true or false the ref is holding up fingers. (Billy Bob) T-r-u-e? It is all right Ref, he will be ok!

Movie: Tombstone
Bad Guy referring to Doc Holliday: "He's so drunk he's seeing double...
Mr. Holliday revealing both six-shooters: "...there's one for both of you"

Yeah JD--i like the Gladiator, and Pulp Fiction lines too.
I especially liked the response John Wayne gave Bruce Dern in the movie "The Cowboys," when Dern's character was razzing him about how much he was gonna' kick the hell out of an old man. John's character says, "Son, I've had my back broke once and my hip broke twice, and on my worst day I could beat the hell out of you."
The most true to life quote that i liked was when Augustus McRae in Lonesome Dove told Laurie Darlin' " Laurie you gotta learn to love the little everyday things in life," since he's so right about it.
There were several good lines that Paul Newman had in "Hombre." My favorite was the dialogue between the Mexican and Paul's character, John Russell when he was trying to ransom the old lady they kidnapped, and he threatened to shoot her if he didn't meet their demands. Russell says, "Alright, shoot her! The Mexican responds, The pretty woman?? Russell says, "She's nothin' to me." Mexican, "How 'bout I ask the others"? Russell, "They say what they say, and I say what I say." IMO, that was Newman's best part ever, and one of the best tough guy roles ever played.

Blazing Saddles; where Bart (black guy) saves himself with quick thinking.
The Johnsons load their guns and point them at Bart. Bart then points his own pistol at his head Bart: [speaking in a low voice] Hold it! Next man makes a move, the nigger gets it! Olson Johnson: Hold it, men. He's not bluffing. Dr. Sam Johnson: Listen to him, men, he's just crazy enough to do it! Bart: [low voice] Drop it! Or I swear I'll blow this nigger's head all over this town! Bart: [now speaking in a higher voice] Oh, lo'dy, lo'd, he's desp'it! Do what he sayyyy, do what he sayyyy... [the Johnsons drop their guns. Bart jams the gun into his neck and drags himself through the crowd and towards the station]

Rio Bravo Anyone that carries a double rig like that...
Well sheriff they make you feel uncomfortable I could give you one. Wouldn't do me any good… you man there has a shot gun pointed at me.
STUMPY, get back in your hole!
Do you always carry that carbine cocked?
Only when I carry it
Why do you carry one of those anyways?
I find some are quicker with a short gun than I am!
The last shoot out with the dynamite in El Dorado is just a classic as well.

Jeremiah Johnson - As Jeremiah walks across a snow covered, open field with his mule...
Bear Claw (from hidden location)- "That'll be far enough pilgrim!"
Jeremiah - "Where are you?"
Bear Claw - "You make a fine target Pilgrim! Empty your hand."
Jeremiah drops his Hawken and Bear Claw seems to materialize from the woods bearing his rifle and approaches Jeremiah.
Young Guns II - Toward the end of the movie, Billy is sentenced and imprisoned and kept underwatchful eye by a guard (Bob Ollinger). He escapes from his shackles and soon after appears in the window of the room in which he was being kept. He takes the sawed off shotgun Bob had loaded with 18 dimes (in each barrel) points it at Bob who is then down on the sreet and says..
Billy - "Hello Bob!"
Bob looks up at the kid - "Sh*#"
Billy - (shoots Bob) "Goodbye Bob! Best dollar eighty I ever spent."
If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of meat.

A few good ones and one funny one.
Saving Private Ryan [Lining up a rifle shot.] Private Jackson: Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Hunt For Red October Dr. Jack Ryan: [to himself] "Ryan, some things in here don't react well to bullets." Yeah, like me. I don't react well to bullets.
Jeremiah Johnson Hatchet Jack "[note on Hatchet Jack] I, Hatchet Jack, being of sound mind and broke legs, do leaveth my rifle to the next thing who finds it, Lord hope he be a white man. It is a good rifle, and killeth the bear that killeth me. Anyway, I am dead. Sincerely, Hatchet Jack."
Unforgiven Little Bill Daggett "Look son, being a good shot, being quick with a pistol, that dont do no harm, but it dont mean much next to being cool-headed. A man who will keep his head and not get rattled under fire, like as not, hell kill ya. It aint so easy to shoot a man anyhow, especially if the son-of-a-bitch is shootin back at you."
Hot Fuzz DS Andy Wainwright: You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city. DS Andy Cartwright: Everyone and their mums is packin' round here! Nicholas Angel: Like who? DS Andy Wainwright: Farmers. Nicholas Angel: Who else? DS Andy Cartwright: Farmers' mums.
What part of "shall not be infringed" do they not understand
