what is the most acurate 22 handgun you have used?
how would you rate them?
my walther p22 is my least acurate probably only effective to 20 yards. next is my ruger single six effective acuracy is 30yards i think this has to do with the compromise between 22lr and 22 mag.
most acurate i have is my contender 10"with red dot this gun is effective out to 75 yards and with a little practice can go to 100 yards or more

My 14" contender followed by a (gun I regret selling) ruger single six with 9 1/2" barrel.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Both of my 10" Contender barrels and a 14" Contender barrel I traded are all very accurate. They all have a have a preference for certain brands of ammo, but shoot acceptable groups with every brand I have run through them.

My 10" Match 'Tender barrel is the most accurate, but my Ruger 22/45 ain't no slouch either.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I forgot to mention my sons Ruger Charger. It'll give a T/C a run for the money.

Not having a 22 Contender barrel leaves my scoped,S&W model 41 as my most accurate 22 handgun...

Most accurate would have to go to the 14" match contender, with the Ruger mk III Hunter a close second.

Tops on my list is a Contender 14" SSK .22LR. Next is a tie between my 10" Contender barrel and the Striker 501. That's about all I have....really need to get a .22LR revolver.

My 5" S&W model 41. I shoot it more than any other and it seems to always suprize me how accurate it shoots day in and day out.

that would be my mark 2 with 5.5in bull barrel can shoot tacks at 25 yards with open sights. these guns has had at least 20,000 rounds shot in it over the years favorite with the kids also because they can hit what they are aiming at.

I wish Henry would build a short barreled gun. My golden boy will out shoot just about anything out there. My brother in Law and I used to have competitions between his scoped 10/22 and my iron sighted henry and would win every time, accuracy to 100yds even with iron sights is phenomenal, I even used it to tecover fishing spinners. I took my kids to a high mountain lake busting out with native trout and alot of dead fall in the water. Every now and then they would get a spinner stuck and I'd have to shoot it off the snag which was usuallly a dead tree. The firs three had shots ranging fro 20-40 feet and I got them all on the first shot without hitting the lure, the fourth was about 4 or 5 inchest under water at about 15' out and it took 3 shots to get it free but it.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist
