Any one have experiance with recoil from a Contender in 7mm TCU between the 10" and 14" barrels? I have a 10" and the recoil might be just a tad stout for my 12 year old daughter. I was shooting fire forming loads.

Not the 7 T/CU, but I have had the 7-30 Waters in 10, 14 and 16 inch barrels and the 10 bucked waaay more than the 14 and 16. I'd expect the same would be the case for the T/CU. In a 14 I bet he would have no problem at all.
Rod, too.

I have a 14 inch 7TCU. kicks alot like a 223. I have not shot a 7TCU in 10 inch, so I can't compare that ... sorry. Recoil is light and accuracy is excellent! I have taken 4 deer in 2 seasons with mine. My Dad also has one and last year he took 2 deer with his. It is a very efficient round!

I am so sorry. I don't know how I missed that. Do'h, and me with two daughters, one of which likes to shoot. I do believe a 14" T/CU would be a pussycat for HER ;-)
Rod, too.
