When the OP says "everything is loose" what does he really mean? Is the scope slipping in the rings? Are the rings loose on the revolver? If the latter happens after just 2-3 shots then the problem won't be solved by Locktite or nail polish - the problem is a lack of sufficient torque to obtain the needed bolt stretch. Get a bigger screwdriver that fits the screw heads correctly.

To keep the scope from sliding I use 400-grit sandpaper inside the ring halves - grit side to the rings. Cheap, works great even on a .45-70 Contender firing max 450-grain loads. Using mechanical solutions for firearms is usually better than using 'glue'.....
