I think you have the mid to large sized game covered with the MOA. I would rebarrel to a small caliber, like 223 Rem, 22 BR, or 204 Ruger. Less recoil and cheaper to shoot. Maybe 222 mag with a 1 in 9 twist rate for heavier bullets. If you did go with the 223, 222, or 204 you would have to get a bolt with the .378" face. The 22 BR uses the same boltface as the 243 (.473").
