Has anyone been experiencing problems getting this site to load recently?

My PC has been having problems with everything lately, but nothing out of ordinary here ;-)

Actually I have been having lots of trouble with the site lately. Several times a day it locks up completely and I need to reboot my computer.

Gary,
Had one episode of long load time, yesterday. Also, when replying to posts, I have to submit twice. The initial submit takes me to the forum page, I use the "back" function, and resubmit and the submission is made as per usual. ???

Dan,
Perhaps it is what you do when not on the website that causes these problems.

My PC has been having problems with everything lately I do computer "clean outs", repairs and upgrades....it seems anyway from the number of calls I get for such. Sometimes it takes about the same amount of time as a 3-5 day handgun hunt. I wont even charge for gas.
No help offered on "other ailments" no matter what you have to hunt.
I have to get out of bed way too often myself so deal with it!!! I DO. HA!
However, "hair loss" has it's alter ego where hair appears to be fertilized and spreading to areas unintended for such folage.
Half afraid to even think about a bear hunt. I'd be looking over my shoulder too much watching out for "friendly" bears and also being twitchy about feeling crosshairs on my back.
No access problems here, Gary.
Thanks for putting up with me and GOD BLESS! Steve

I have problems if I go through AOL with it locking up but using internet explorer it works great.

AOL is notorious for throughput issues and since they are very anti-gun anyway nothing would surprise me from them.

Yesterday I posted that everything was OK, but it was the first post I read and was speaking of the days prior. Well yesterday I read the forums and responded to a few threads and I got what I call hangfires most of the time. I would hit the submit button and it would start to load, about 1/3 of the little bar at the bottom would show and then hang. After about 45 seconds to a minute it would finish loading. Never lost anything, but it was slow. Today I have responded to a few post and it loads quickly, just like normal.
Thanks for working on keep HH going strong Gary!!!!

I haven’t experienced the other problems users have listed… I have to say it has fueled my addiction though. Does that count?

Tigg hit it on the head for me here. Slow loads and "hang-times" have become typical on my end. We access everything from explorer and Yahoo here. We also do regular clean-up and maintenance like Whit, so I pretty much have thought that the slow downs were web based, and I just didn't think to complain about something that I have no knowledge of operating (as in this very comfortable websight). As of this sign in, things loaded the way they used to. Thanks Gary! Good lookin' out. I'll pm you if I see things looking the way that they were after this.
