Outdoor life... that would be cool. I wish I had taken more pics back then and even taken notes on what I did hunt and where. The digital age has made it alot easier to keep track of things. 1992 was a great time for sure.

I took 13 deer total with the Max and the 158gr Rem SJHP and only recovered about half of them. The half that didn't pass thru were usually on the far side under the hide and mushroomed out well. One had a jacket core seperation but both pieces were recovered. The wound channel was about 1~1/2" and the exit would be about the same. I don't know what the velocity of the factory loads were in my gun, but I have laoded a bunch of the same bullet with H110 and they are running 1,700 fps.

I saved the bullets but I don't know where they are from the move. If I can find them I'll take a picture.
