I see nothing "wrong" with the 30TC, but I don't know that I'd just "have to have one".

It wouldn't suprise me to see, in factory ammo, that it does quite well compared to the 308W and 30-06 in 14-15" bbls, in terms of ballistic performance.

I'd own one if I found a deal on one, but probably wouldn't just set out to purchase one.
