I forget what type of pressure the Encore can handle, but it does very well with 308 & 30-06 based rounds. The will handle a 375 H&H but I do believe that is about the extent of its capabilities. I consider the “max” loads for my 375 to be 100fps under those listed for a bolt action. They have the ability to stretch the frame if you try to “push” it. The Encore has done wonders for the sport because it can be chambered in so many wonderful rounds that you can buy right of the shelf.
