Too funny....

Junebug, ya , 355ers for moose and bear here in Alaska. The Redhawk is a 454 I converted with a cylinder from a SRH. Whitworth and others have done the same. As far as fps, my 45 Colt 355gr load in the 7.5" SBH is 1200fps , same load in the 4" RH is 1150. The magnaport really helped tame torque and muzzle flip.

wapitirod, ya, It's rewarding to hunt and fish with your own ammo and flies. I've taken critters with my own handloads with my 325wsm but still haven't taken an animal with these boolits or with a handgun even. Spring bear hunting didnt' pan out this year, I didn't get a chance to get out, I still hunt Dall sheep with my rifle so haven't had a chance there. Maybe this month for moose and/or bear though!
