Just a thought..When I lived in an apartment (many years ago) I got a Black and Decker "Workmate" and used it to mount my press. I would set it up to load and it folds up to put away when done. Worked really well with limited space.

As for a press, I would go with a Dillon :-)

JMHO, go with the cast iron...

I have my Lyman mounted on a true 2X8 right know. Before I started bolting it down I did c-clamp it down, so that has worked for me!

You are going to laugh at this, room is tight for me right know and I mounted my press on an old iron fish tank stand. lol. also, look at Lee's websight, they have a roomsaver bench for a press.

ps, I have a really nice Lyman powder dispenser and I rarely use it. I have loaded thousands of rounds using two or three small condoment containers. Most of my reloading right know is 4-5 of this and 4-5 of that, by the time I can set up my dispenser I am already done. lol

I have one of these stands I bought after my first back surgery when I had a building seperate from my house for reloading. They work pretty good and take up little space.

My plan is to not use a powder dispenser. I will use a combination of a plastic spoon, powder trickler, scales, and a powder funnel.

An excellent alternative than can be used on your press or hand held.
