Boartuff, One of the first handgun scopes I bought was a Redfield 2-6X. I used that scope when I bought my FA 454 and shot hundreds of full power handloads through it besides using it for hunting. That scope was on the 454 when I took a Shiras moose in `99 and was used to take a number of whitetail before it had to be repaired. The Redfield`s optics were as good as Leupold or Burris and since it was made in Colorado you knew it was good. Sadly they are no longer being made. I managed to locate two more variables and one 2x. As you can se I`am very fond of Redfields and wish they would return...
