I have a 223 TC 14" barrel. H335 is my go to load in a rifle, but too much muzzle blast in the 14". What powder do you use? I use 50gr and 55 gr bullets.

Try Varget-- I find it works great in my stuff
May also consider H4895
The Varget will most likely be compressed when you get you best accuracy--use as much of your freebore as possible short of seating the bullet on the lands

I've used 25.0 gr. H322 under 40 gr. and 50 gr. BTs for 31 years. Killed over 1000 groundhogs with these out to 400 yards. Never tried another load since it's worked so well.
My experience is right in line with ToddXP and LCRogers. My reloads with H-322 using Hornady 50 gr. SX (Super Explosive) has killed hundreds of prairie dogs and dozens of marmots, plus a dozen or so coyotes, and badgers, and foxes... 'n lots of other varmints...
Old school powder and bullet but works as good as any of the new ones on vermin.
