watched a vid of Fred Eichler hunting pronghorn with a 357 taurus tracker using 158 gr hornady factory loads,the shot was impressive 132 yds with irons.Killed the goat for sure but it ran a fair ways.He can for sure shoot a handgun.

I like Fred.

I've watched that video and I like the fact that he gets excited by the hunt and the shot. You would think that a guy who hunts as much as he does would be immune that type of reaction. Good to see as I like him too.

His show is one of my favorites. I like the fact that he gets excited shooting a doe or small buck as much as a big buck.

I sure enjoy his program he is a refreshing change from the guys who shoot 160 inch bucks on deer managed farms.

Fred is the real thing. Went to his seminar at the Iowa Deer Classic last year and stopped and visited him at his booth. His wife is same down to earth person you will ever meet the same as Fred. He gets really hyped on any thing he shoots. His wife had just shot a cougar the week before and he was still ecstatic and was showing pictures of her trophy cougar that he had on his I-phone. I try to go as many seminars as possible and Fred and his wife put on the most informative and down to earth seminar that I have attended. He treats everyone as his best friend..not a lot of people in the world like that today. Your guys are correct he is as proud of shooting a rag horn elk as he would of world record.
