When I need to slaughter a bunch of milk jugs I will keep that in mind ;-)

I'd like to try something like that, but we don't drink that much milk.

Guess its time to trade out the 44mag and 454 for the 9mm

On a similar note, I shot clear through 14 gallon jugs of water with my .475 Linebaugh and I am convinced it wouldn't have stopped at 20. That's a penetrating machine......

The other thing that is not taken into account is how violently the milk jugs left the table.
The 9mm poked through some and left them still sitting on the table...albeit leaking. Anything hit with the 454 turned inside out and simply disappeared.
I would like to see a similar test done with a 454 and a hard cast, heavy, non expanding bullet. I suspect that he would have shot though that entire line of jugs, end to end, and maybe the backstop as well.

I will post up the .475 video. The splash and violent destruction of the first 4 or 5 is eye opening.

This is why the SW 500 is KING.
Enjoy
This video is impressive but a lot of BS. #1-all the slugs should have been either HPs or lead slugs. The testing we have done in watered oil/antifreeze jugs show results very differently. #2- it is hard to shoot and get the slugs not to veer off to one side and leave the line of jugs. #3- The big calibers with HPs were very close to penetration as did the 9MMs. The 9MM with 150grain hot load with wide meplat lead slugs will out penetrate the heavy magnums.
