I am with the other fine upstanding gents-- 22 gr of H110/296 has nearly always shot 210 -225 or so very well took my first handgun deer with Lyman Keith and 20 gr of h110 for heavier 255 gr 18 gr of h110 as to primers sometimes I use cci 300 or Fed 150 because they are shiney -- normally WWLP
S&W 657 with 7 1/2" barrel shooting 210gr XTP over 22.7grs H-110 and Fed 155.....
Quit showing off James.........I see a big old lump on top on the head. I think you threw the handgun at it.... Just kidding. Nice piggy there my friend.
I'm fairly new to the 41 mag craze and only have one notch on it.
I was trying out the Barnes 180 XPB with 23 gr of H110. It is superbly accurate and performed very well on this whitetail. I shot it facing me - bullet entered just above the brisket and was recovered in the rear of his stomach.
Nice buck I am also a fan of Barnes bullets,i use the 250 grains out of my 454 FA I've shot a few deer with them on damage control permits they do a heckuva job normally watch the deer go down insight.
