N.Y. opener - 11/17/2017 2:22 PM
Hunting clothes in the wash, raingear on the line, new batteries changed in the muffs and ultra dot. Cleaning out the garage making room to hang a deer. I have been up since 5 am doesn't look like I will sleep tonight either.
Love this feeling.
Good luck to all my NY handgun brothers!

Sat most of the opener at a new location. saw about 6 doe, but unfortunately did not have any 7M DMP's. never saw a buck. Day 2, back in 7J, never saw a deer. Lake effect predicted tonight so that might give us an edge for tomorrow and I will be back at it!!

Yep. The day I posted it, I covered the 280 acre property. All I saw were three beds and their tracks that led off the property. Seems like a very quiet season. I actually haven't hunted since Monday and tomorrow I am going North to run the beagles with a hope of scoring a snowshoe hare or two.
