Companies Break from NRA Partnerships - 02/25/2018 2:26 PM

I know this technically belongs in another forum but it's good to be the boss.
\:\)
It's time we make our voices heard. Start writing emails to these companies and let them know you won't do business with them.

Adding Delta and United Airlines...

Surely all forum members can see the importance of being an NRA member, we have to stand together on this.

If you own a gun, and are not a member, your doing more harm than good, RT, very nice gesture!

I just hope some will take me up on it. We CAN NOT survive if we aren't united. Members fight for rights while nonmembers cheer from the sidelines. Cheering helps, but jumping in the fight helps 10 fold. I'll keep everything private, and no names will ever be mentioned if that is preferred. I just want to encourage people to join!

Awesome gesture, Paul. But, who can't set aside about $3 a month?!? That is about as much as a cup of coffee these days.

If folks want to save $10 they can go through the Shooting USA site:

Life member here. I also round up when buying through Brownell's and MidwayUSA. Of those companies listed, I only have used one, but no more fore them. I also will be sending emails out to them and the others.

Yeah, I know. But it's that important to me to get as many signed up as possible. This is not a time to sit on our haunches and just hope this all blows over.

They are not taking any stand on principle, they are bowing down in fear to the bullying from the anti's social media assault. The only thing that can fight that specific threat is bringing our own pressure. Since I don't know how social media works, the emails are a good idea.

If they choose not to associate with the NRA it only follows that we of the NRA must choose not to associate with them.

I've been a member since I was 18 yo. Sometime annual member, sometime three year membership, but always a member. I donate knives for raffles when able. I just recently found out my membership expired on 31 Dec 2017 - I've been a life member since 2006. Hope to resolve the issue today.

What's funny is that I can now get a life membership for $600. Don't know if that's a bargain or not since the $1500 membership has already expired.

Join, then write your representatives. We are fighting for our lives here.
The NRA makes it simple to contact them through email.
I upgraded my Life membership to an Endowment Life and make contributions throughout the year. This is serious folks. All help is appreciated.

Re: Companies Break from NRA Partnerships - 03/01/2018 2:04 PM

I don't own an AR, nor any hi-cap mags. Nor any Slidefire " bump-fire" stocks. It doesn't matter. The only way to fight gun grabbers is to follow Harlon Carter's advice: "NEVER GIVE AN INCH!"
In my lifetime, they've gone after "saturday night specials", generally meaning anything we now carry as concealed hanguns; AR's of any description; 50 caliber anythings; Concealed Carry, period; large capacity drum magazine shotguns (street sweepers); "military style" weapons - of any description; mail purchases; "gun show loopholes", meaning transfers between individuals; All handguns, period; FTF purchase of handguns in other states; suppressors / silencers; extended magazines that stick out below rifle stocks; and others that I don't feel like thinking back on.
It will never stop. Eventually, it will be "those deadly long range sniper rifles" like any scope equipped Remington 700 your dad used.
NEVER GIVE AN INCH. Fight them all the way, on everything. Join the NRA or upgrade your membership. Write your Representatives and Senators politely. Write your newspapers. Join your local gun club and State Association. E Mails cost you nothing, but a bit of time. Cause your buddies to join the NRA.
NEVER GIVE AN INCH. Or your favorite firearms and hobby will be next.

At the time of the civil war a 58 caliber musket was an assault rifle.
