Two days at Tioga

Two days at Tioga - 09/29/2018 5:24 PM

Spent two days at Tioga ranch.....When a turkey gets wet they don`t look as majestic as when dry...Anyway, I shot two birds with my FA`s 41 and hot 210gr XTP handload. They were one shot kills with both around 40 or so yards. The first bird was flopping around after the shot and I missed his head about an inch. It still stopped his movement. next day I used same gun and load to take a large boar. 1/4 toward shot that broke up the shoulder bones of left leg...

James, you rascal!

I say shooting turkeys in the head is hard to do...

and then you go and do it. Twice. With a revolver no less!

Congratulations, I am very impressed.

Congratulations. The closest that I ever got to a turkey with a handgun was wearing my CCW to the grocery store!
