454 Casull hog - 12/01/2020 2:20 AM
I had this hog come by my deer stand about 4:30 this evening. We don't like these things and neither do the deer.

Seminole Wind, he stopped behind a tree and started checking the wind, so before he could make up his mind I made it for him. I hit him at the back of the lungs on the opposite side. When I tracked him down he was standing like a linebacker waiting to charge. Once again I changed his mind and put a 300 grain XTP just behind his cheek and into his neck. Went down like a bag of hammers.

Nice hog. Need to keep them in check. We found if you mess with them a few times and kill a few they would leave our place and stay away for a month or so them come back.
Did you use any of those muzzleloader bullets you got from me for this season?
Good shooting.

Hawkeye, My nephew used them but never got a chance to shoot anything with them.
