Nice shooting on the hovering bee. I have hunted Carpenter bees on occasion with a pellet gun. Great fun. Not a handgun but I have downed a few on the wing with a tennis racket!
Remember, this is the year for many of us to be invaded by 17 year Cicadas. I have experienced these critters more than a few times. I am looking forward to taking my grandkids out with the Red Ryder BB gun and “hunting” the red eyed beasts.

Did you use a mono flat point of an A-Frame? What powder how many grains, primer?

I went to my gun shop and asked for A frames for the pellet gun and they threw me out....

Did you do an autopsy? What was the internal damage like? Was it a complete pass through?
