last year I killed 3 deer with a 260 Encore. I have already had in rotation twice this year. Here are the 2020 deer with the 260.

The .260 Rem is just about as perfect a whitetail cartridge as there is IMO. I had an Encore but sold it. Very accurate and controllable, as I had it Magnaported before I ever got it. My son enjoyed shooting it even as a pre-teen, it and my Ruger .44 Special were his favorite handguns. I think I only ever shot a couple does with it, but 100 yd. groups of an inch or a little bigger were easy off a bench.
