Speer 270gr BT bullets for 375 JDJ? - 03/25/2022 10:05 PM

Anybody have any experience with these bullets in the 375 JDJ? It's about all I can find right now. Would be used on most Alaskan big game critters.

Not sure if you use it but Gunbroker had some 270gr. Hornady’s the other day.

I have used the 260 grain Nosler Accubond in my Contender SSK .375 JDJ. It shoots great with Varget. I get an avg. of 1800 fps from the 14" barrel and 1.25" at 100 yds from a bag. The only thing I have shot was a
100 lb. whitetail and a 125lb pig. Both times I got a pass through but lost of internal damage. I had it sighted for zero at 125 yds and it was 4.5" at 200 yds. I mostly use Varget but finally found some AA2520 that shoots great. Also I have tried H4895 with good results on the heavy bullets.
I will look to see what I have in .375 bullets. I have a pile of them. I shoot them in my .375 JDJ pistol and my .376 Steyr MOA pistol. I mostly shoot 220 or 225 grn bullets in my .375 JDJ and Steyr. Very good deer round and not as hard on the wrist.

I have one bag, 50ea of the Nosler 260 grain, .375 bullets in Accubond by Nosler. I only shoot a few per year so I could spare these. For sale or trade.
