Bear hunting in Ky.

My son checked in tonight after 3 day late bear season in eastern Ky. He and a friend saw no bears, and only 13 were checked in for this late season hunt. He said he had a good trip anyway with a long time friend . We hunt for the opportunity to take game animals, but not taking an animal does not make it an unsuccessful hunt, if you have good memories of the hunt, and shared it with good friends .

I am sure they had a great time.
We keep getting more and more bear around my area. I am sure they would be a real challenge to tag without bait or dogs. Without bait or dogs, the Word LUCK comes to mind.
