The stock could use a bit of freshinging up though! Never sis like that blah grey...

And...I have a sweet SS 28" HEAVY .308 Winny tube for a Remmy action. Been threatening myself to take to my 'smith for trimming and rethread for a Savage action. But it would work good on that XP action...hehehe.

Very tempting... I'm thinking either a 222 (cause I already got a 22-250 Striker) or just putting together that 6-284 project I've been dreaming about. And you are right about the stock, it needs something. I really like the "ranger" treatment I've been seeing on some of the recent forum posts. If I go the 6-284 route, I'm going to have to wait on until after the tax man visits...no what I mean?
