Well, I got my 30-06 Ackley Imp. dies thinking I would rechamber my 15" 308 Win. Now I'm not sure if I should or not..? I wanted more velocity with a 165 grain slug but, the 308 has been very accurate and I hate to mess with it. What would you do..?

You know you have a good barrel, so just make sure you choose a good smith to go along with it.

Encoredude, I'm the consummate barrel collector. My motto is why rechamber when you can get another barrel. He who dies with the most barrels wins(or something like that).

If it shoots as good as you say it does, get another barrel and leave that one alone.

Like magman says "he who dies with the most barrels(toys) wins!!!!"
