I'm so scared of whats to come. I'm going to the Adirondaks for a few days to cleanse the soul. Myself & about 10 others go every year (ever since my grandfather met my grandmother. a German & Belgian immigrant.) Cooking w/ a dutch oven. No power, phones, etc. An occasional bottle, good food, good gun on my hip, & friends in the mountains. Escape this dreadful reallity.

Enjoy your time, good friends, food, drink and the fresh air. Thinking of going to the farm myself...no power, no phones, no running water...just a small cabin Dad and I built, fireplace, fresh air and a comfy chair.
Good God in Heaven but your trip sounds fantastic......enjoy...

We have a variety. Wall tents, pop ups, tents, & a few of us sleep on the ground. All in all it's a real good time. A deer is icing on the cake. Maybe a grouse or 2!
