As i sit here waiting for monday to rol around, i've double and tripled checked all my gear as well as my sons. and i think fondly of the times i spent in the deer woods with my dad and grand dad, and i realize its not what i shoot or if i even kill anything its about spending time ith your friends and family. My dad past before y son was old enough to remember him amd i really miss our trips to the camp with family. I hope that i get the chance to hunt with my son till i can no longer take that first deep breath of the cold mountain air, when you first step out of the cabin and it freezes your lungs. and i hope i'm still able to hunt when he is old enough to get married and i get to see my grand kids hunt. god i love this time of year.
