my 14 year old daughter "Kylie Jo" is a cheerleader on the Greenup County Varsity competition squad. dang, shes good! she can jump n twirl, n land with the best of em
the GCHS chearleaders are 11 time national champions!

here's the deal........i need ya to go to www.tommy.com and vote for greenup county high school-ky. you can vote once a day till jan 23rd.
if they get enough votes, the february trip to florida for national competition would be paid for.
it'd save me a lot of money personally! i'd be eternally grateful!

OK here is the deal. Candy said to let you guys know that when you vote, if you don't see a screen that says "Thank you for voting" your vote didn't register and therefore did not count. If you got a blank white screen you need to go re-vote. Go over to the ALready registered side (to the right of where you signed up) and enter your email info and password and it will take it. We are gaining ground...PLEASE GO VOTE and email anyone and everyone you know to do the same.

just went to vote and a message popped up that said something about the voting being put off til the 11th.
If everyone else here is as forgetful as I am you might want to run it past us agian.
Still got my vote if they let me.

Here's what I just found at the site.




Dear Voters:

At approximately 2:00pm Wednesday afternoon we noticed that there were irregularities in the manner in which the voting was tabulating for the Tommy Girl All American Cheerleading Squad Competition. Upon further investigation, we recognized that someone had designed a computer program that would automatically generate new [and fake] email addresses and cast a vote. In the interest of being fair to this process and to ensure that every team has an opportunity to win based on the real votes that they have earned, we are implementing a new verification element to the voting site that will prevent this type of occurrence from happening again.

As well, we are going to augment the dates of the competition allowing EVERY TEAM to advance to the 2nd round. The vote tally for each team will re-start at 0. See the revised voting and elimination schedule below:

Tuesday, January 11 (12pm EST) - Voting to begin

Tuesday, January 18 (12pm EST) - 12 squads eliminated, 4 squads remain

Saturday, January 22 (12pm EST) - 2 squads eliminated, 2 squads remain

Sunday, January 23 (12pm EST) - Tommy Girl All American Squad Winner Announced

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and hope that you will all understand that this is in an effort to ensure that fairness and the true spirit of competition are upheld. Try to get on this morning to vote and see what the new thing was and now when you go to tommy.com and click on the cheerleading a user login box pops up. Tried using my email and password that was original signup but says ACCESS DENIED, so anybody got any ideals on how this new round of voting is suppose to go.
