XP100 vs Savage Striker............ - 07/26/2011 9:16 PM
The bug is bitting at me again
! Im almost ready to put a LR pistol together. I have a few dilemas though:
1-XP100 or Savage Sriker
2- mid grip vs rear grip
3- What type of muzzlebreak for the maximum recoil reduction
4 - length of barrel
Im leaning towards the 243. It will be a paper puncher first then a meat muncher.

Xp has better trigger and more parts available.
Mid grip lets the barrel flip a little more. rear grip lets it come straight back a little more.

Iv got a 243 AI with 15" does a great job. It does not have a brake. Its getting ready to have a Chuck break on it.

XP
grip is personal and also depends on usage.
But I have shot some awesome groups off the bench with a center-grip.

I was wanting to stick with the 243 since I have 2 other firearms in 243. This will more times than others be a paper puncher with a trip to the sticks here and there.
